About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our team at Next Step Independence. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to children and young people in our care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of care professionals to provide exceptional care and support to children and young people.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the needs of each child or young person are met.
- Manage and maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure seamless support and services for children and young people.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, making improvements as necessary to maintain high standards.
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma (Children, Young People and Families) and/or working towards a Level 5 Diploma.
- At least 3 years' experience in a registered children's home environment, with 1 year at a senior level.
- Full clean UK driving license and use of a vehicle.
- Experience in residential care settings, inter-agency work, and child protection.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
