This is a fantastic opportunity to join the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust as a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics. Our trust provides high-quality healthcare services to approximately 300,000 people in the south of Cumbria and north Lancashire.

Job Responsibilities

The postholder will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with gynaecological and obstetric conditions. This includes providing outpatient clinics, theatre sessions, and labour ward cover. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies within the trust.

We offer a competitive salary of £92,624 - £115,839 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities, a generous annual leave allowance, and a supportive working environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within six months of the date of the AAC. You will also require MRCOG qualifications and experience in general obstetrics and gynaecology equivalent to that required for a UK CCT. Active involvement in clinical audit and a sound understanding of risk management are also essential.
