We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our client in Derry/Londonderry. Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will lead the financial operations of the site, providing strategic guidance and robust financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing financial teams and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + 15% bonus + excellent benefits
- Flexible working arrangement: 3 days office, 2 days home

The Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include:
- Ensuring the integrity of the accounts and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and board policy
- Liaising with auditors to complete year-end statutory accounts in a timely manner
- Establishing annual budgets, monthly accounts, and weekly forecasts in line with business requirements
- Communicating with and developing subordinates through regular performance reviews
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) qualification
- Proven management experience in a commercial environment, ideally within manufacturing
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Experience of providing financial information at senior level
