About the Service

We are seeking a highly motivated Relief Support Worker to join our team in Braintree, Essex. As a Relief Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work in a specialist supported living service that provides care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.

We take a person-centred approach to care and support, empowering individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations. Our team works collaboratively with Care Managers and health professionals to develop and implement effective support plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support to service users in their own homes, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Engage with service users in planning their support, empowering them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Contribute to a positive, team approach, demonstrating a strong work ethic and duty of care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant experience of supporting people with learning disabilities or autism.
  • Demonstrable skills in engaging service users in planning their support.
  • A 'can-do approach', person-centred values, energy, and commitment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to develop good quality support plans.

Salary and Benefits
