About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Dandara Living in East Anglia. As a key member of our commercial department, you will play a crucial role in delivering successful projects and ensuring that our residential developments meet the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the residential housebuilding sector. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is also essential. You should be familiar with construction contracts, current building regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and negotiation of initial site budgets
  • Subcontract procurement and obtaining risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation from subcontractors
  • Site visits and inspections, coordinating with management and subcontractors on site

You will also be responsible for chairing sub-contract pre-order meetings and attending regular project review meetings. Your ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously will be highly valued.
