About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our Medical Education team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our team and service users, ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Medical Education team, including coordination and distribution of information, organizing inductions and teachings, and maintaining office and training equipment.
  • Be the first point of contact for service users, stakeholders, and colleagues, handling face-to-face, telephone, and email communication.
  • Support the wider team with general office administration, including organizing meetings, taking minutes, and designing and distributing resources.
  • Work flexibly to prioritize and organize own and team workloads, dependent on the conflicting demands of the service.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with a wide range of people, including students, stakeholders, patients, families, medical staff, and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
  • Understanding of the key features of the role and the imperative need for confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages, including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Ability to exercise judgment when dealing with enquiries and solving problems.
