Pathology Quality Manager

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a highly skilled Pathology Quality Manager to join our Pathology Laboratory team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the project team in building the QMS and liaising with accreditation/regulatory bodies.
- Own, define and manage project actions and timelines for insourcing the Pathology service.
- Take ownership for specific validation and verification processes of necessary systems to establish the service.
- Initiate the application to perform Lab functions inhouse within project time frames, to ensure alignment with the project times.
- Responsible for overseeing and assuring regulatory body applications and gaining their approval.
- Perform and oversee incident investigation to include root cause analysis principles and implementation of the recommendations and learning actions.
- Ensure efficient operation and management of the quality management system.
- Ensure an efficient and effective corporate approach in dealing with all Quality and Training matters, guiding and developing the Laboratory team as required.
- Demonstrable track record over several roles (or equivalent experience) in Managing Quality, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs.
- Demonstrable previous experience in Pathology Quality leadership role.
- Experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams and effective line or functional management of staff.
- Detailed familiarity with operational services and systems including specifically document and incident management systems and software.
- Experience of training individuals or groups in formal and informal environments, via multiple methods.
- Previous Pathology (Private or NHS) experience, knowledge of services and clinical specialities.
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
