Job Summary

North West London Pathology is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our Quality and Governance team as a Pathology Quality Officer. The successful candidate will have a strong background in laboratory quality management and a proven track record of ensuring compliance with ISO 15189:2022.

Main Responsibilities

The Pathology Quality Officer will be responsible for embedding a culture of quality within the laboratory, ensuring that all elements of the quality policy and quality manual are implemented. This will involve working closely with laboratory staff to identify and mitigate risks, conducting audits and quality checks, and implementing quality improvements and preventive actions.

Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory quality management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have a good working knowledge of pathology computer systems and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
