Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our Quality and Governance team at North West London Pathology. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our laboratory services and maintaining compliance with ISO15189:2022.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will work closely with laboratory teams to ensure a quality service is provided and maintain an efficient, effective, and harmonized quality management system across all sites and departments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out risk assessments and identifying appropriate follow-up and action plans
  • Investigating incidents and non-conformities, contributing to Patient Safety incident investigation
  • Performing audit and local quality checks
  • Maintaining compliance with ISO15189:2022 and Trust standards
