Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead in Adult Psychiatry to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold a General Medical Qualification and be registered with the GMC.
  • Have a strong background in psychiatry, with a CCT in Psychiatry or equivalent.
  • Be able to provide clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team.
  • Have experience in managing priorities and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to supervise junior medical staff and provide educational supervision.
  • Have a strong understanding of clinical governance and be able to apply this in practice.
  • Be able to contribute to research and audit projects and have experience in publication.
Requirements
  • Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician approval.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing junior medical staff.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of clinical services and improve patient outcomes.
