About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Client Service Specialist to join our Commercial Enterprise Unit based in our Halifax office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional advice and service to all clients, ensuring that all customers are dealt with professionally and fairly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Policy Management: Effectively manage policy events, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with colleagues to maximize growth and revenue.
  • Communication and Liaison: Provide clear and concise communication to clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and information exchange.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments, applying this knowledge to deliver value-added services to clients.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 GCSEs, Grades A-C including English and Maths, with previous experience in an Account Handling role (Insurance) required.
  • Skills: Excellent client service and administrative skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work in a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of the broking insurance market and the role of regulation and compliance.
  • Technical Skills: Operational use of Acturis, with experience of using MS Office Suite.
