Position Overview:


We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a skilled Commercial Client Advisor to become part of our Commercial Enterprise Unit.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver expert guidance and service to our clientele. You will adeptly manage policy events while adhering to compliant procedures, ensuring that all clients receive professional and equitable treatment.

This role involves assisting with modifications to current coverage and retaining existing clients during renewal periods through the ongoing cultivation of relationships and the provision of outstanding customer service.


Key Responsibilities:


Identify suitable solutions, structures, pricing, and placement strategies that align with client requirements while fostering profitable business for a diverse client base.

Deliver exceptional service to clients, addressing all aspects of their insurance arrangements, advising, reviewing, arranging, and securing the necessary coverage at competitive rates.

Oversee the review and necessary actions regarding policy and client information.

Maintain vigilance in daily operations to detect and mitigate potential issues, ensuring prompt remedial actions are taken as needed.

Establish and nurture effective relationships at all levels with clients, prospects, associates, insurers, and external specialists to maximize business opportunities.
Continuously enhance relationships with PIB's panel of insurers and maintain a strong presence within the insurance sector.
Collaborate proactively with colleagues across the organization to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Place commercial lines business within approved markets to best meet client needs, drawing on knowledge of the client, the insurance market, and industry sector propositions.

Keep clients informed of updates regarding political, regulatory, and market changes that may affect them and their businesses.
Evaluate the adequacy of coverage and the suitability of terms offered to clients,
Cooperate with relevant departments to ensure all inquiries are resolved swiftly and efficiently.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs, Grades A-C, including English and Mathematics.
Prior experience in an Account Handling role within the insurance sector is essential.

Demonstrated client service and administrative experience, with a commitment to processes and systems, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to support client service delivery.

A genuine passion for cultivating excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues
A desire to learn and develop, successfully achieving your apprenticeship
An inquisitive mindset with a readiness to ask questions
Basic understanding of the insurance broking market and the significance of regulation and compliance.

Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal colleagues.
Proficient in computer use, particularly with the MS Office Suite and operational use of Acturis.
Operational proficiency in Acturis, ensuring updates are made accurately to meet data quality standards.
