Job Title: SEN Coordination Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the provision for students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored support plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with SEN policies and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Provide guidance and training for staff to support SEN students effectively.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in working with a diverse range of SEN needs.
