Job Title: SEN Coordinator Role for a Part-Time Permanent Basis

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our team on a part-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will lead and manage the provision for students with special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create tailored support plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with SEN policies and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Provide guidance and training for staff to support SEN students effectively.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in working with a diverse range of SEN needs.
