Housing Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting adults who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of the issues surrounding homelessness. You will work closely with our service users to provide tailored support and guidance, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to service users
  • Assist with daily living tasks and help with accessing local services
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies to ensure comprehensive support
  • Contribute to the development of individual support plans

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A UK Driving Licence
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong understanding of the issues surrounding homelessness
