Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at The Electronics Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
- Assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules (PPM) to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Carry out PPM schedules as necessary and planned works orders as required, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Assist visiting specialist engineers when necessary, providing technical support and guidance.
- Report breakdown root cause, equipment faults and concerns to the line Manager, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing disruption.
- Perform troubleshooting to solve minor repair issues, using your technical expertise to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Make full use of our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Plan and prioritize your workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time, meeting daily production targets.
- Assist in the meeting of daily production plan, working closely with production teams to ensure seamless operation.
- Fill in job tickets/ CMMS on completion of work accurately and in a timely manner, providing a clear record of maintenance activities.
- Typical examples of work would include responding to maintenance requests for equipment faults, diagnosing faults, repairing and returning equipment to operational service, all while operating in a safe and efficient manner.
