Infrastructure Engineering Technician

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team at Orion Electrotech Rail Careers. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting electrical preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a variety of plant equipment and automated systems.
About the Role: This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with production and engineering teams to achieve optimal results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical equipment, including motors, drives, control panels, and automated systems
- Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Identify and recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and processes
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
