Carrington West: Senior Project Manager - Major Infrastructure

Location: Norwich

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage major Highway infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and budget management.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring effective communication and alignment of project goals.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and documentation to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the project team.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering major infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, project management software, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
