Overview: Our client is seeking an Employability Trainer to deliver engaging teaching sessions, support student progress, and promote a safe learning environment.

Location: Cambridge, UK

Salary: £28,179 - £36,644 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience

Contract: Full-time, 37 hours per week, permanent

Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme

Key Responsibilities of the Employability Trainer
  1. Deliver effective employability training sessions to students.
  2. Manage a caseload of students, supporting recruitment and selection processes.
  3. Provide both academic and pastoral support to foster student growth and development.
  4. Embed English and maths into teaching practices to enhance student outcomes.
  5. Lead quality improvement efforts and engage with employers to provide enhanced learning opportunities.
Skills and Experience required for the Employability Trainer
  1. Essential:
  2. GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English or the ability to achieve within a specified timeframe.
  3. Experience in the employability sector and training in non-traditional environments, preferably in Further Education and Apprenticeships.
