About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Diagnostic Engineer to join our team at Expert Employment. As a key member of our mechanical testing team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to engine overhaul, vehicle testing, electrical diagnostics, and system testing.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through thorough testing and validation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct full vehicle performance, safety, and functional testing.
  2. Setup and complete automated engine testing.
  3. Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies, and rebuild as necessary.
  4. Deliver conclusive results from data analysis.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience in automotive engineering, with a focus on mechanical testing.
  • Familiarity with engine or full vehicle diagnostics, including electrical and mechanical instrumentation.
  • Calibration expertise in dynamometers, thermocouples, or transducers.
  • Strong data capture, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Hold a degree or HND in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.

Salary Information:

The expected compensation for this position is approximately £65,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
