About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Systems Administrator to join our team at co Limited. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing the infrastructure that delivers our self-managed & managed services to our customers in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve escalated issues and provide coaching to other departmental staff.
  • Implement and maintain effective monitoring of systems and services.
  • Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support.
  • Occasional travel to various offices and data centres.
Requirements
  • Strong IT skills in an Internet environment.
  • Windows Server administration skills in a hosting environment.
  • Experience with SQL systems admin, specifically MSSQL Server MySQL/MariaDB.
  • Knowledge of Dell server hardware.
  • Experience with common web platforms (Umbraco/Magento/WordPress) and their setup/operation.
  • Load balancing and HA platforms (DB replication/load balancing).
  • Shell scripting language (e.g. bash, PowerShell).
  • Configuration management tooling.
  • Change management and configuration policies.
