We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Aspire People. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and be able to provide high-quality care and support to students in a primary school setting.

Job Overview

The role involves working closely with teachers and other school staff to deliver personalised interventions and support to students with SEN. The ideal candidate will have a patient and empathetic approach, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality support to students with SEN, following their individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to students to promote engagement and participation in school activities.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and committed to supporting children with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEN and be able to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.

Competitive salary (£30,000 - £40,000 per annum), long-term contract with the option of extending or 'as and when'. Opportunity to work in a school with a strong community presence.
