About the Role
As a Chemical Industry Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and establishing Tradebe as a trusted supply chain partner within the Life Sciences sector. Your primary focus will be on developing and managing relationships with key decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring that revenue, margin, and volume targets are consistently met.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate the Life Sciences market, focusing on recycling raw material solvents and product sales opportunities or services.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes within the sector.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their unique requirements and tailoring solutions accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, technical experts, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of services and products.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your industry knowledge and network.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for Tradebe while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Monitor market performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to management on progress and achievements.
Your Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in business development within the chemical industry, ideally with a focus on Life Sciences.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and technical aspects related to solvent recycling and product sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
