Job Title: Behaviour Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special primary school in Harrow. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with students with complex needs and a proven track record of providing effective behavioural support.

About the Role:
  • Support students with extreme behavioural issues and ASD on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis
  • Assist with personal care and daily living skills
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualised behaviour plans
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
About the School:

Our school is a purpose-built special primary school catering for students with complex and profound learning difficulties, including severe autism, complex medical conditions, physical and mobility difficulties. We have excellent public transport links and have consistently been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted.

Requirements:
  • Experience of working with students with behavioural issues and ASD
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with students with complex needs
