About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Harrow. The successful candidate will work closely with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEMH and EBD in small groups and one-to-one settings
  • Develop and implement behaviour interventions to promote positive behaviour and social skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualised education plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements
  • First-Class Degree from a top-20 UK university
  • Experience working with children with SEMH and EBD
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for SEND education and a commitment to supporting students with complex needs
