Enhance Student Learning as a Teaching Support Professional

We are seeking a committed and experienced teaching support professional to join our primary school team in Ware. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with teaching staff to enhance student learning and development. Your role will involve leading small groups, delivering pre-planned lessons, and providing individualised support to students with additional needs.

About the Role:

  • Lead small group interventions to support students' learning and development.
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons under the guidance of teaching staff, ensuring effective curriculum delivery.
  • Provide individualised support to students with additional needs, including SEN and EAL learners.
  • Assist in the planning, preparation, and assessment of learning activities, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the school's safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the welfare and safety of all students.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role within a primary school setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
