Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Pastry Chef who has previously worked as a Senior Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie in a similar kitchen environment, handling fresh food and high volume. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of classical French cuisine, pastry techniques, and food safety standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the pastry section, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and efficiency. They will also take a hands-on approach to food preparation, ensuring that dishes are executed to perfection and in accordance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the pastry section and maintain impeccable standards of food presentation, taste, and safety
  • Train and supervise Demi and Commis Chefs in the pastry section, fostering collaboration and efficiency
  • Work calmly and efficiently in a busy kitchen environment

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie in a similar kitchen environment
  • In-depth knowledge of classical French cuisine, pastry techniques, and food safety standards
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with a diverse team
