The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Year 5 Teacher for our Primary Schools in Greenwich. This position involves supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth.

Job Requirements
  1. Design and implement lesson plans tailored to students' needs.
  2. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
  3. Establish an inclusive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
  4. Collaborate with teaching assistants and other support staff.
  5. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student progress.
  6. Liaise with external agencies and professionals to support student development.
  7. Foster a positive atmosphere that promotes emotional well-being.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching children or young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and adaptation.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this role is between £35,000 and £45,000, dependent on experience.
