Supportive SEN Teaching Professional Wanted for Year 6 Student

Classroom Teachers Limited is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN teaching assistant to work one-on-one with a Year 6 student who requires additional support due to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role will involve providing tailored assistance to help the student achieve academic and personal growth.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children on the autism spectrum, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to establish strong relationships with students, parents, and other professionals. They must also be committed to delivering high-quality support and care that meets the unique needs of each child.
In this role, you will work closely with the teacher to develop and implement strategies that cater to the student's specific requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the student with transitioning back into a school environment
- Providing individualized support to help the student progress academically and personally
- Liaising with parents and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
To succeed in this position, you will need to have:
- Experience working with children with ASD or similar learning difficulties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to providing high-quality support and care that prioritizes the welfare and development of students
