Ribbons & Reeves Limited is seeking a Psychology Graduate with experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Southwark.

Job Summary

We are looking for a caring and knowledgeable individual who desires to work in a school environment, providing additional support to students who need help to progress. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a 1:1 and small group basis with SEN students, both in class and around school.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who aspires to become a Clinical or Educational Psychologist, as it provides hands-on experience in delivering excellently planned support sessions for pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to SEN students to enhance their academic and personal progress.
  • Work closely with the SEN team to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with teachers and parents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Psychology from a top 20 university.
  • Experience in supporting children with SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
