Dental Nurse Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Nurse to join our team at Savernake Dental Practice. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists during various treatment procedures, including implant surgery
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to HTM guidelines
- Ensure patient comfort and well-being before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and prepare the surgery for each patient and treatment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to strict hygiene standards
- Monitor and manage clinical waste and sharps disposal
- Assist with radiograph processing and ensure accurate patient records
- Provide clinical support under the supervision of our dentists
- Continuously evaluate patient needs and respond promptly and efficiently
- Assist with laboratory work and ensure timely completion of patient records
- Adhere to all practice policies, procedures, and patient confidentiality guidelines
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with the dental team
- Take responsibility for own and others' health and safety
- Comply with GDC, CQC, and HTM-01-05 requirements
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
- Qualification in Dental Nursing (NEBDN or NVQ 3)
- Dental Nurse Registration with the General Dental Council
- Post-qualification experience in a dental setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- IT literacy and knowledge of practice management systems
