Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Nurse to join our team. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and hygienists in providing high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for assisting with various treatment procedures, preparing and sterilizing instruments, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists and hygienists with treatment procedures, including implant surgery
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to HTM guidelines
- Help patients feel comfortable and relaxed during treatment
- Set up and prepare the surgery for each patient
- Clean and sterilize equipment and working surfaces
- Ensure safe disposal of sharps and clinical waste
- Maintain radiograph processing units
- Provide clinical assistance under the supervision of dentists and specialists
- Evaluate patient needs and deal with them promptly and efficiently
- Assist with patient records and laboratory work
- Monitor and maintain stock levels
- Follow practice policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality
- Qualification in Dental Nursing (NEBDN or NVQ 3)
- Dental Nurse Registration with the General Dental Council
- Post-qualification experience
- IT literacy and knowledge of the SOE practice management system (advantageous)
