Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Female Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As a valued member of our community care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our clients in the community.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a female client with an acquired brain injury, providing personalized care and support to enable her to achieve her personal goals and live as independently as possible. You will be responsible for providing manual handling, personal care, and other essential care services, as well as supporting the client with daily activities and promoting her overall well-being.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months of UK-based experience in healthcare or a related field
  • Manual handling, personal care, and care of gastrostomies skills
  • Experience working with clients with acquired brain injuries and care of ventilators
  • Ability to drive and access the client's location
