Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Hampshire & Isle of Wight team. This is a hybrid role that combines office and home working, with a focus on delivering excellent services to victims of crime.

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to victims of crime, while also developing and managing operational staff. You will work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and management team to achieve the implementation of workforce plans and develop the service to maximize positive outcomes for those who access it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of operational staff to deliver excellent services to victims of crime.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and accessibility of services.
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and management team to achieve the implementation of workforce plans.
  • Proactively promote the service and raise awareness of services among professionals and the public.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in a challenging and changing environment with an emphasis on customer focus and excellence in service delivery.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advisory skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the Criminal Justice System and the impact of crime on victims and witnesses.
  • Knowledge of legislation relating to equal opportunities, diversity, inclusivity, safeguarding, and risk assessment.
