About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team at LGC Group. As a Group Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in our financial operations, working closely with our accounting team, finance provider, and senior finance leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Closing monthly results and financial year-end, preparing statutory financial documents (IFRS), and participating in various accounting projects.
  • Working closely with our outsourced finance provider on month-end transactional activities.
  • Helping to build and maintain uniform and consistently documented and applied financial policies and processes.
  • Assisting in implementing and developing supporting platforms (e.g., Business Objects, Tableau, Blackline).

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with technical skills and a thorough understanding of consolidation.
  • Degree-level qualification.
  • IFRS experience.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), fixed asset accounting, etc.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a positive communication style.
  • Proven ability to work optimally in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues at all levels.
  • Experience with IFS is an advantage.
