Group Financial Accountant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team at LGC Group. As a Group Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our £700m+ turnover private equity-backed global business.
Key Responsibilities
Closing monthly results, preparing statutory financial documents (IFRS), and participating in various accounting projects such as operational improvement and simplification. Collaborating closely with the Group accounting team, our outsourced finance provider, the Group Finance Manager, and the Group Financial Controller.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with technical skills and a thorough understanding of consolidation.
- Degree-level qualification.
- IFRS experience.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), fixed asset accounting, etc.
- Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a positive communication style.
- Proven ability to work optimally in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues at all levels.
- Experience with IFS is an advantage.
