We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to join our team at CD Auto Engineering Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our fleet of vehicles and ensuring that all compliance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the team responsible for truck and trailer breakdowns
  • Provide daily support and problem-solving for fleet-related issues
  • Work closely with service agents and suppliers to ensure the best possible service for our fleet
  • Manage our fleet of mobile vans and tractor units to ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Vet supplier invoices to ensure accurate billing
  • Ensure the team is up-to-date with all overdue services and compliance requirements
  • Conduct occasional supplier audits and spot checks on work carried out by our team and third-party garages
Requirements:
  • Experience in a senior or supervisory role in the HGV commercial sector
  • Qualifications such as NVQs or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
