Support Worker Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care Ltd. As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with autism, epilepsy, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Encourage and support individuals to access their local communities, socialize, and engage in activities.
  • Teach new life skills, such as cooking and cleaning, to promote independence.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a dynamic and supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license is essential.
  • Previous experience in supporting individuals with autism, epilepsy, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities is desirable.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and a composed approach are essential.
