Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Young Carers Practitioner to join our dynamic team at The Children's Society. As a Young Carers Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing holistic support to young carers in Camden and Islington, including one-to-one, whole-family, and group workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct child-centred assessments and develop plans to support young carers to thrive.
  • Deliver training and awareness-raising sessions to relevant professionals.
  • Provide specialist help and support to young carers and their families.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and awareness of national and local initiatives to support young carers and their families.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with young people, communities, and partners.
  • Competencies in undertaking assessments and plans within scope of practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
