Editorial Director

Are you a seasoned Sports Editor with a passion for crafting engaging sports content? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for driving audience engagement? DAZN is seeking a talented Chief Editor - Top of the Funnel to join our team.
As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Top-of-the-Funnel strategy, ensuring that our app is the ultimate sports destination for fans worldwide. You will work closely with our global platform teams to align on strategy and provide governance across our Top-of-the-Funnel approach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing our TOTF strategy to drive engagement and retention
- Ensuring all customer-facing channels and content are editorially and commercially aligned with TOTF objectives
- Working with global platform teams to align on TOTF strategy and provide governance
- Driving the DAZN News strategy to improve acquisition and engagement
- Collaborating with Rights Acquisition to ensure new content is considered and presented to authorized and unauthorized users
- Running weekly and monthly schedules on Free to Air events to support Marketing and CRM strategy
- Analyzing engagement data to inform strategy
Requirements include:
- A strong editorial background with experience in sports broadcast
- Editorial and commercial experience working in sports content
- Ability to present data-backed insights to senior leads
- Experience using Business Intelligence software, including Tableau and Looker
- Experience running OTT output
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A strong eye for engaging imagery and headlines
