Editorial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Editorial Director to join our team at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and publication of high-quality content for our online journal.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the peer review process for research papers and commission authors to ensure the successful production of engaging articles.
- Develop and maintain relationships with global primary care professionals to attract high-quality research for the journal.
- Represent the journal at conferences and events, staying up-to-date with current developments in primary care and identifying potential topics of interest.
- Write editorials and other content for the journal as required.
- Contribute to the development of new initiatives for the journal's future growth and development.
- MD or PhD with postdoctoral experience in a relevant subject, or a postgraduate higher degree in a relevant discipline plus substantial editorial experience at a senior level on a peer-reviewed STM journal.
- Thorough knowledge of biological and medical sciences, as well as broader social issues pertaining to primary care.
- Excellent command of the English language and the ability to write in an engaging and interesting manner.
- Proficiency with IT systems, including MS Office.
