About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Safety Consultant to join our team in Manchester. As a Senior Nuclear Safety Expert, you will be responsible for managing and delivering nuclear safety packages of work, including overseeing and supporting our delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement nuclear safety strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical and strategic support to clients;
  • Foster and maintain excellent client relationships, providing bespoke advice and solutions;
  • Support the growth and development of our nuclear safety case capability, including identifying and bidding for new work;
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Nuclear Safety Specialist with a strong understanding of safety cases and their production. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A good understanding of hazard and fault identification, qualitative and quantitative hazard assessments, and radiological consequence assessment is essential.
