Nuclear Safety Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Safety Consultant to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our Nuclear Division, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nuclear safety packages of work, including overseeing and supporting our delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver nuclear safety packages of work, including overseeing and supporting our delivery teams;
  • Build and develop excellent client relationships, providing bespoke, strategic advice on safety cases and their production;
  • Deliver high-quality and bespoke technical and strategic support to our clients, focusing on providing solutions to specific client needs;
  • Support the continued development of our business, including through identifying, bidding for and winning new work, either with new or existing clients;
  • Mentor and develop our graduates and other junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of hazard and fault identification, qualitative and quantitative hazard assessments, radiological consequence assessment, fault studies, and design substantiation;
  • Experience of working within multi-disciplinary teams and with communication with other technical disciplines;
  • Experience of working with a range of nuclear site licensees within the UK;
  • Experience of working on a variety of safety cases at various lifecycle stages.
