National Skills Agency is committed to delivering high-quality training and assessment services to support the development of early years educators.
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an assessor for early years education. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and coaching adult learners to complete their apprenticeships.
The role combines remote learning with fieldwork, requiring occasional visits to workplaces and meetings with apprentices. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with funding rules, mentoring learners with varying barriers to learning, participating in continuous professional development, and liaising regularly with line managers and quality assurance teams.
Job Description:
- Responsibilities:
- Record monthly evidence of in-learning progress and Off the Job Training Hours using an ePortfolio system.
- Mentor and coach learners to achieve their goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve qualifications and skills.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Demonstrate expertise in vocational specialism, industry-specific qualifications, and IT skills.
- Requirements:
- Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification or above.
- Minimum level 2 standard in Maths, ICT, and English.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and specialist software.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Our estimate is around £40,250 based on national averages.
