Head of Data Strategy and Architecture

We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee and evolve our enterprise-wide data strategy and architecture practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data architecture principles that support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate the goals and ambitions for our data strategy and work with the organisation to implement the necessary changes.
  • Oversee the architecture team, ensuring the delivery of fit-for-purpose information architectures that meet both current and future needs.
  • Lead and develop the practice of data architects, supporting career development, and building marketable skills in data architecture, data engineering, and data analysis.
  • Be accountable for the development and maintenance of strategic and transitional data architectures.
  • Manage and develop the data architecture team, enhancing their capabilities and supporting their career advancement.
  • Own and maintain the architectural governance process for information and data-related changes.
  • Design and lead data governance initiatives, including chairing the Data Council.
  • Establish and implement data policies across the organisation.
