Job Title: Lead Midwife Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated team leader to manage our newly established Telephone Triage Team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will lead the team based at Worthing Hospital and be responsible for providing clinical supervision, ensuring the smooth daily running of Maternity Telephone Triage, and developing specialized programs of care for women calling into the service.

The post holder will have management responsibility for the efficient running of the Maternity Telephone Triage department and will be an expert in the assessment of antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Telephone Triage Team based at Worthing Hospital
  • Provide clinical supervision and oversight of the team
  • Ensure the smooth daily running of Maternity Telephone Triage
  • Develop specialized programs of care for women calling into the service
  • Work closely with other health professionals to ensure individual packages of care are created to maximize best practice
