Digital Learning Portfolio Manager

Nuffield Health is a charity that's building a healthier nation, one day at a time. We're seeking a Digital Learning Portfolio Manager to join our team and help us achieve our goal.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the management of Nuffield Health's digital learning portfolio, delivering high-quality, outcomes-led programmes that facilitate realisation of the Learning Foundation's strategy.

The Digital Learning Portfolio Manager will work in partnership with the Learning Foundation's leadership team to drive the digital learning agenda and promote the use of innovative technologies that facilitate learning excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design and development of a range of best-in-class digital learning solutions, including virtual classrooms, multi-media e-Learns, videos, podcasts, infographics, guides, and Quick Reference Guides.
  • Be digitally innovative to maximise the capabilities of our learning technology tools and identify/plug gaps in our digital offering.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Digital Learning and Development, representing the Learning Foundation at internal/external meets and events.
  • Line manage the Learning Technology Team: Learning Technologist and Learning Platform Associate; and have accountability for the management of Nuffield Health's learning platform.
  • Oversee the selection and management of digital learning content supplied by third parties, ensuring effective performance management and adherence to our Standards of Excellence.
  • Work with the Organisation Development Director and Head of Learning Excellence to oversee the procurement and implementation (including migration) of a learning management / experience platform that enables quality outcomes across all aspects of the learning cycle.

Requirements:

  • A Degree (or equivalent) with a solid track record of designing and delivering innovative digital learning and development programmes.
  • Level 3 AET (or equivalent).
  • Significant experience of learning platform management (working knowledge of Kallidus would be advantageous) and ideally learner experience platform experience.
  • Good understanding of a variety of IT platforms that will aid in delivering digital learning (e.g. MS Applications, SharePoint, Vimeo, etc.).
  • Proficiency in the use of advanced authoring tools (Articulate 360, Vyond, Canva etc.). Expertise in designing in Storyline, with ability to develop the wider team's capability.
  • A track record in creating digital learning that is accessible and inclusive.
