About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Engineering Specialist to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our Advanced Technology group, you will be responsible for delivering technically compliant design deliverables and leading technical delivery teams to deliver projects to completion within cost budget and to programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and be part of technical delivery teams to deliver a range of projects to completion, within cost budget and to programme.
  • Effectively manage own time which may be necessary if allocated to more than one project.
  • Delivery of technically compliant design deliverables in accordance with the input requirements.
  • Production of designs and calculations to demonstrate acceptable performance or identify design issues.
  • Production of key technical documentation – Calculations, Design reports.
  • Build internal relationships and help identify business opportunities.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in Environment, Safety, Health, Security, and Quality.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background with a relevant Honours degree, degrees or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer Status (e.g., MICE, MIStructE or MIMechE).
  • Experience in the use of computer modelling packages such as finite element analysis (e.g. Abaqus and Ansys), finite difference analysis, or finite volume fluid dynamics packages.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A flexible attitude to both the type of work undertaken and the level of responsibility given.

Rewards and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary that is regularly tested against other consultants with a default of 25 days leave each year plus bank holidays and options to buy or sell some of that leave. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Additional Information:

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
