Project Manager Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our client, a joinery subcontractor based in Ashton-under-Lyne. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple smaller packages or possibly one larger project at Manchester Airport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main interface between the contractor, clients, suppliers, designers, and public
  • Site preparation and set up
  • Use software packages to plan and programme works
  • Forward planning to avoid problems with the delivery and storage of equipment and materials, access, and other logistical issues
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of joinery packages across the north west, working with NHS and Primary Care Trusts, Education Authorities, Private Developers & Social Housing Trusts, and private clients

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, contracts management, or site management from a subcontracting background. They will be self-sufficient, client-facing, and able to work independently.
