About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Team Lead to join our client's busy Finance function. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of professionals to deliver high-quality financial services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Provide strategic leadership to the team, ensuring a smooth delivery of financial services and driving process improvements.
    • Take accountability for the team's performance against defined milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Financial Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and employees.
    • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure efficient and effective financial processes.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to drive value through clear objectives, effective prioritization, and accurate data.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.
  • Culture and Continuous Improvement
    • Create a culture that delivers accountability, openness, and improvement.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Management Experience
    • Demonstrable experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, changing environment.
    • Effective influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financial Operations Expertise
    • Strong knowledge of financial operations, including accounts payable and data assurance.
    • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and key priorities.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive value through clear objectives and effective prioritization.
